Vintage Design
The wooden frame, armrests and lower part, are completely polished in black shellac; while the seat and backrest, are covered with a brown velvet fabric. The armchairs are composed of two large side arms, which also act as legs. Beautifully curved armrests in black lacquered beech wood nicely blend with the brown upholstery. Then the seat and backrest are covered with a pair of refined velvet fabrics; as you can see, there is an insert both on the seat and on the backrest, in brown velvet fabric with white rope all around; a velvet with large ribs, and a smooth velvet for the light brown side band. The fabric comes from a “silk factory” in Zoagli, and has a very particular manual processing.
Finely restored, with attention to detail, with great attention to the original, make sure that each piece retains its value and is ready for many years to come.
