Gilt bronze mounts in shape of neoclassical floral vignettes and laurel wreaths embellish the apron and the base. A mahogany and gilt bronze tazza with a baluster shaped foot is placed in the center of the base between the three legs to serve as a stretcher. The opulent bronze mounts display a fine casting and chiseling, the eagles&#8217; heads are of a remarkably vivid expression.
