\n This wood, gesso and paint head of a santos of Judas Iscariot would have topped a procession figure that most likely was paraded through the streets of a town in Spain. As would be expected, paint has chipped off over the years and there are losses to the gesso.<\/p>\n

This wood head is in fair original condition with losses to both paint and gesso consistent with wear from age and use.<\/p>\n
