“Napoleon III Dining Room 19th Century Marquetry And Bronze Louis XVI Style” This dining room is from the Napoleon III period. We can place the production between 1880 and 1900. It is exceptional in many ways. It consists of a sideboard with curved doors, a pretty inlaid sideboard. We find this marquetry on the buffet and on the server. The bronzes are exceptional, they cascade and descend onto the base of the table. They are beautifully crafted, richly carved with Louis XVI decoration. A bronze gallery sits above the beveled mirrors. The table has extensions. For the condition, we report rubbing and scratches on all furniture, discoloration and patina wear. Note an accident on each mirror, wear on the veneer of the table, 8 chairs have pierced canework, pitting and wear of the gilding on the bronze elements, scratches and chips on the marble. We point out that the marble of the two-door sideboard seems to us to have been restored on a crack. However, this dining room remains exceptional due to its quality of materials and manufacturing and it is in good general condition.
