Vintage Design
The seating group consists of a pull-out table and four fanett sprout chairs. The contrast, the characteristic two color of the table top and frame, is particularly important. The frame consists of white painted solid wood elements. The table top can be extended using a simple system. The associated fanett chairs are a well-known classic of the Scandinavian design. The materiality is of high quality. As with all Tapiovaara designs, the entire construction is particularly elegant, primarily due to the very finely executed seat and the dissolved backrest. The contrast, the characteristic two colors, is particularly noticeable in this execution.
The seating group is in very good condition with signs of wear. The white elements were originally a bit darker and were apparently re-painted by the former owner. The original color – a darker white tone – can still be seen.
