Mid-Century Highboard Windermere from Jentique, 1960s

Model “Windermere” from the English manufacturer Jentique can rightly be called a pearl of a Higboard! Designed with the sharpest eye for detail and built according to the highest English quality standards by real professionals! Made in a beautifully warm veneer top layer and full of beautiful details. Just look at the design of the handles, organic in shape and made of the most beautiful wood, on the doors they are stunningly beautiful in design. The drawers and flaps are equipped with subtle “blind” / invisible handles. Wonderful! The drawers are a nice size so there is plenty of room for all your things. The two cupboard spaces on the left and right are also spacious and equipped with a shelf. There is also a cupboard space with a flap available at the top left. There is also a very nice open area with a shelf for your most beautiful items. The base is very beautifully designed and the entire size is equally beautiful, with its 167 meters this beautiful piece of furniture can be placed in almost anyone’s home. The most special thing is the slight bend in the front, the whole curves slightly inwards, which provides a unique touch and unprecedented grace! The whole comes directly from the first owner who lives in the south of England, and is in a very neat vintage condition, the traces of use are appropriate for its age and use for more than half a century. Most noticeable are some visible discolouration/smears on the top, but with some decorative items on it this is certainly not disturbing. Our own workshop has ensured that everything is in perfect order and will last for years to come. We can speak of a very well-maintained piece of furniture.
