A sculptural abstract fish table lamp of carved wood and filament by Clark Voorhees, circa 1947.

This lamp was sold by Kyle-Reed. Vorhees, an architect turned sculptor, was inspired by the surroundings of his home and studio in the Connecticut countryside and was known for his elegan abstractions of the various wildlife around him. His sculptures were also sold at George Hansen and Georg Jensen in NY. This lamp retains its original wiring and fittings, preserving its authentic charm.
