Diane von Furstenberg maxi dress, c.1970s, its allover floral print of varied gold-tone flowers and green leaves against a black background. Accompanying the dress is a deep, rounded shawl of the same pattern trimmed with black fringe. The dress itself has a bandeau-style, empire bodice with an adjustable central tie and keyhole held up by spaghetti straps; descending from there is a long straight sheath that skims the body and descends to ankle length or a little above, depending on the height of the wearer.
Diane von Furstenberg was famous not only for her wrap-style dresses, but also for her easy-to-wear designs and the print fabrics she utilized, both geometric and floral, the latter of which this is a prime example.
Very good condition, no flaws detected.
Marked size 8 (see measurements below).
