Vintage Design
Very few signs of wear. We offer this unusual day bed from a Swiss private collection, designed by Fred Ruf 1951 for Wohnbedarf. The condition, as is so often the case with Swiss furniture, can be described as very good. No wonder, since the production quality is first class and the furniture is very well cared for. The rich black high-gloss finish of the frame still shines with the fresh colors it did 70 years ago, all surfaces are still original. For reasons of hygiene, we deliver the day bed without a cushion. A mattress measuring 190 x 90 cm is easily available today.
Chrome-plated tubular steel, beech frame, spiral springs, solid ash wood.
H 24cm – 39 cm W 195 cm – 190 cm D 90 cm.
