Antique Wedgwood Lobster Bowl (Date Marked 1860 or 1886)

A spectacular antique hand painted ceramic Wedgwood lobster and seaweed themed bowl with silverplate rim. The underside includes an impressed Wedgwood mark as well as a three letter (GKO) impressed code which signifies the month of production (G), the artist (K), and the year (O). The “O” mark signifies both 1860 and 1878. The pattern code, e2457, is also found in the bottom of this item. The bowl is approximately 4.5″ tall, and 10″ in diameter.

Excellent antique condition with wear to the bottom of the feet (contact points). Otherwise, little to no loss of painted patterns or silverplate rim.
