1950’s Platinum Organic Motif Multi-Diamond Ring Size 3.5

This organic shaped platinum ring dates to the 1950’s, making it a mid-century piece. Its beautiful design could be interpreted in many ways—organic, flowerlike, a French curve. Its central diamond, a 4.5mm round brilliant cut, is surrounded by 18 smaller single and round cut diamonds. The diamonds are delineated by millegrain work, which is punctuated at each end with a hand-engraved geometric form. There is nice carriage work that supports the piece and brings lovely elevation to the diamonds.

The smaller diamonds range in size from 1.25mm-3mm. There are approximately 5 small single cut diamonds; the rest are medium sized round cuts. The largest diamond is 4.5mm, round brilliant. The diamonds are G-H in colour, and range in clarity from VS-I to VS-II. It contains .8 of a carat.

The ring is in very good condition, with minimal age-appropriate wear to the platinum. This makes a great pinky ring as a size 3.5, but could be resized up to two and a half sizes, so could be converted all the way to a size 6. This would also make a great alternative wedding band.

The durable platinum paired with the unique Mid-Century design make this a sparkling one-of-a-kind piece.
