14K Gold Bloodstone Edwardian Intaglio Signet Ring Size 10.25

This 14k gold Edwardian intaglio signet ring contains an esoteric image—a unique family crest with mysterious imagery. Carved into bloodstone, a striped shield sits on a diagonal, with a scroll looming above it. It is topped with a crown, a pine tree, and a tiny animal—perhaps a horse, coyote, or deer—who seems to shape shift each time it is looked at under the loop. The ambiguity of the image is sure to evoke thought. The bezel set bloodstone is beautiful and deep, with speckles of red “blood” across the dark green stone.

The ring is marked with 585 for 14k gold. It weighs 10.9 grammes. The intaglio measures approximately 1/2” x 5/8”. The ring also could be used as a wax seal!

Ring size 10.25. Can be resized and would look great on either a man or woman.
