Exceptional Contemporary Design
With Tassenkast, Dutch designer Lotty Lindeman questions the borders between interior design and wearable objects. While the design as a whole functions as a cabinet in one’s home, each storage compartment also works independently as a handbag or suitcase.The frame is crafted from cherry wood and the carefully stitched cases are made of padded fabric, wrapped around two wooden side panels. The latter can be hung from the wooden bar using fabric straps with fastenings that match those on the bags. This installation with 7 bags is made in a limited edition of 3.
