Samuel Robert produced some of the best leather designs during the 1960s-’80s. This unique example of his work emphasizes the contrast of white leather, the exterior of the jacket, against the white-embroidered black ground wool of the skirt and jacket lining. The jacket features a small shawl collar exposing the lining fabric, as well as three-quarter sleeves and a nipped waist, both of which have pleated details. The straight skirt has a side zipper and a kick pleat in back. The jacket is an approximate size 6, while the skirt is extremely narrow, but can be altered to a larger size.
