Tessellated Marble Blue Bow Trinket Box

A trinket box in tessellated marble, possibly by Maitland Smith, though unmarked. Cream colored marble tiles with blue marble tiles forming a decorative bow in the center, ample black felt lined interior, brass hinge hardware, fabric strap held lid, and felt lined exterior bottom. Made in the Philippines, in the late 20th Century.
